Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making the Cnipbotics platform and curriculum accessible to every learner, teacher, and school administrator.
Last updated: March 15, 2026
1. Our Commitment
Cnipbotics is committed to ensuring that our website, LMS, curriculum materials, and learning experience are accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.
2. Measures We Take
Our development team incorporates accessibility into the design and development process. Specifically: (a) all pages use semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy; (b) images include descriptive alt text; (c) interactive elements are keyboard-navigable; (d) color contrast ratios meet WCAG AA standards; (e) form fields include proper labels and error messages; (f) the LMS supports screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver); (g) video content includes captions where available.
3. Curriculum Accessibility
Our printed curriculum materials use a minimum 12pt font size with high-contrast text. Project guides include both visual circuit diagrams and text-based step-by-step instructions. We are working on providing braille-compatible versions of curriculum books and audio-described project walkthroughs for visually impaired students.
4. Hardware Accessibility
We recognize that some students may have motor or sensory disabilities that affect their ability to work with small electronic components. We encourage teachers to pair students for collaborative projects and provide alternative assessment methods. Our teacher training includes guidance on inclusive classroom practices for robotics sessions.
5. Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some areas are still being improved: (a) certain interactive diagrams may not be fully screen reader compatible; (b) older PDF documents may lack full tagging; (c) some embedded third-party content (YouTube videos) may not meet our accessibility standards. We are actively working to address these issues.
6. Feedback & Assistance
If you encounter accessibility barriers on our Platform or with our materials, or need content in an alternative format, please contact us at accessibility@cnipbotics.com. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and resolve issues within 30 days where technically feasible.
