Course Description

This intermediate-level course is designed for makers, hobbyists, and aspiring engineers who want to move beyond blinking LEDs and dive into the world of sensing, measurement, and robotics. You will learn how to interface a wide array of sensors (temperature, ultrasonic, IR) and output devices (LCDs, buzzers, RGB LEDs) with a microcontroller. The course then guides you through the principles of motion, from controlling DC motors with PWM and H-bridges to precise servo control. In the final modules, you will apply everything you've learned to build autonomous behaviours like obstacle avoidance and line following, culminating in a final project where you can showcase a smart device or robot of your own design.
